Dream Overseas Report - March 9
As the calendar gets closer and closer to the WNBA pre-season and regular season, the Dream has made some moves by inviting a few new (and old) players to training camp.
http://dream.wnba.com/news/dream-sign-four-players-to-roster/
Amanda Thompson was re-signed by the Dream. She didn’t play for the Dream in the 2015 season due to an injury she suffered overseas. During the 2015-16 offseason, she’s been playing for Sfantu Gheorge in Romania. We will be adding Thompson’s games and stats to the list below.
DeLisha Milton-Jones played last season for the Dream. She hasn’t played overseas this off-season. She was signed to a training camp contract.
Kara Braxton was signed to a training camp contract. She played for Liaoning in China during the 2015-16 offseason. However, Liaoning didn’t make the postseason and her season is over.
Meighan Simmons was signed to a training camp contract. She turned pro in 2014 but hasn’t seen much WNBA action since then. She currently plays for Italian team Umbertide and I’ll be adding her to the report.
Of course, there are lots of other Atlanta Dream players currently playing overseas. Find out how they did over the last seven days in this week’s Dream Overseas Report!
