PT Solutions Selected as Official Physical Therapy Provider of Atlanta Dream

Dream coach Michael Cooper will appear on “The Sports Insider” Saturday on 92.9 FM  


ATLANTA (January 14, 2016) –
PT Solutions, a physical therapy company, announced a multiyear partnership with the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream to be the team’s official physical therapy provider.

As part of the deal, PT Solutions will provide the Atlanta Dream with Director of Sports Medicine Michael Douglas and support staff, access to the Fusionetics injury prevention program, concussion management services, access to a team neuropsychologist and CPR Training to all members of the Dream staff.

In addition, the Dream and PT Solutions will conduct six co-branded Dream Fit Clinics for each year of the agreement and participate in two Inspiring Women Speaker Series events, which will provide health and wellness information. Female therapists and trainers will serve as speakers as part of that series. PT Solutions also will participate in the Dream STEM Education program, which will include an appearance by an Atlanta Dream player. The program serves to help inform and educate about the importance of sports therapy and medicine.

In addition, Dream head coach Michael Cooper will appear on PT Solutions branded sports talk radio program “The Sports Insider” on 92.9 FM The Game this Saturday (Jan. 16) at approximately 8:40 a.m. ET to discuss the upcoming 2016 WNBA campaign as well as the new partnership.

“The Sports Insider” is hosted by long-time Atlanta radio voice Dan Kamal, the former play-by-play broadcaster for the NHL’s Atlanta Thrashers.

The three-time Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream is entering its ninth season in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
