WNBA’s Atlanta Dream Sign Three Players to Training Camp Contracts

ATLANTA, Ga. (Apr. 19, 2024) – The Atlanta Dream announced today the signings of guard Taj Cole, guard/forward Elizabeth Balogun, and center Khaalia Hillsman to training camp contracts.

Cole, a 2021 Virginia Tech graduate, posted averages of 9.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game in her senior year campaign, earning ACC All-Defensive Team honors. For the past three seasons, Cole has played in Athletes Unlimited.

Balogun graduated from Duke in 2023, in her senior season she averaged 10.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1 steal per game. She recently represented the Nigerian national team at the 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgium, recording 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists across three games.

Hillsman, a standout at Texas A&M, earned consecutive All-SEC Second Team honors in 2017 and 2018. The 6’5″ center set an Aggie record with a 59.3% field goal percentage over her four years. Hillsman made her WNBA debut last season with the Chicago Sky.
