Dream Look to Break Franchise Record Against Seattle Storm Sunday

Atlanta will try to set a new franchise record with seven wins in a row
 
ATLANTA – The Atlanta Dream will host the Seattle Storm Sunday inside McCamish Pavilion beginning at 3 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on FOX Sports Southeast.

After claiming its sixth straight victory Thursday, the Dream (14-9) has tied the franchise record for games won in a row. Atlanta defeated the New York Liberty, 82-68, behind Renee Montgomery’s franchise record for three pointers in a game with seven, also a career-best. Montgomery finished with 24 points and five assists, just one shy of reaching 1,000 career assists.
 
Seattle (18-6) return to action after defeating the Connecticut Sun, 78-65, Friday night. Jewell Loyd led the Storm in scoring with 31 points.
 
The two teams will meet for the third and final time this season Sunday. The series is tied 1-1, with the Storm winning most recently 95-86 on July 6 in Atlanta.
 
Earlier this weekend, the league announced team rosters for the 2018 All-Star game. Angel McCoughtry was selected to Candace Parker’s team and will compete in the game Friday, July 28.
