Atlanta Faces New York in Friday Night Matchup

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The Atlanta Dream (5-22) head out to New York to take on the Liberty (9-18) Friday, August 23 at 7:30 p.m. Fans can watch the game live on CBS Sports Network.

Atlanta looks to break a 12-game losing streak Friday night, while the Liberty look to pull ahead of Dallas and Indiana in the WNBA standings with a win. New York most recently snapped an eight-game losing streak with a win over Indiana on the road on Tuesday.

Last Time Out: Dream vs. Liberty

Earlier this season when the Liberty came to Atlanta, Tina Charles scored 17 points in the first half and led New York to victory, 74-58. Brittney Sykes led the team with a then-season-high 18 points off the bench, including a 4-of-5 effort from beyond the arc. Renee Montgomery and Elizabeth Williams contributed double-digit scoring efforts with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Williams also led the Dream with eight total rebounds.
