Dream Host Mercury in Thursday Night Matchup
ATLANTA – The Atlanta Dream look to extend their winning streak as they host the Phoenix Mercury Thursday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. Fans can stream the game live through WSB-TV Now or NBA TV.
Last week, Atlanta (7-22) took down New York and Dallas on the road to snap a 12-game skid. Eighth-ranked Phoenix (14-15) comes to Atlanta after defeating New York on Tuesday, and they will look to clinch a playoff spot with a win on Thursday.
Last Time Out: Dream vs. Mercury
The Mercury snapped a three-game losing streak when the Dream traveled to Phoenix earlier in August. The Dream led by as many as 12 points, but the Mercury pulled away in the fourth quarter and won, 77-68. Renee Montgomery led the Dream with 17 points with three three-pointers in the loss. Elizabeth Williams recorded her first double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
