Atlanta Dream to Take the “Show on the Road”
Dream to visit Meadowcreek High School in Norcross for exclusive Open Practice on Wednesday
ATLANTA (June 13, 2016) – The Atlanta Dream will hold an open practice at Meadowcreek High School in Norcross, Ga., on Wednesday, June 15 as it “Takes the Show on the Road” for a special night with their fans.
The practice, which is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. ET, is open to the public for a $20 admission price that includes a lower level ticket to an Atlanta Dream home game of the purchaser’s choice, participation in a Q&A session with Atlanta Dream players and coaches, a team autograph session as well as a chance to win an official autographed Dream jersey and WNBA replica ball signed by the team.
“We can’t wait to hold this special event with our friends at Meadowcreek High School,” Atlanta Dream head coach Michael Cooper said. “It will be a fun night and a chance for us to connect with our fans on a more personal level. We are excited for what will be a fun-filled evening with our biggest supporters.”

Carla Cortijo, the first Puerto Rican-born player in WNBA history, will speak at the event engaging attendees with her path to achieve her dream of playing professional basketball at the highest level.

The three-time Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream is entering its ninth season in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
The Dream plays their home games at Philips Arena. Atlanta has qualified for the playoffs six times, winning conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
