Dream waive guard Darxia Morris
ATLANTA (July 17, 2017) – The Atlanta Dream have announced the signing of guard Chelsea Hopkins to a seven-day contract Monday.
Hopkins, who was with the New York Liberty earlier this season, is a second-year guard out of San Diego State. She appeared in four games with the San Antonio Stars as a rookie in 2013, averaging 1.5 ppg, 2.0 rpg, and 2.5 apg. She will wear No. 5 with the Atlanta Dream.
The team also announced they have waived guard Darxia Morris.
The Dream will host the San Antonio Stars tomorrow afternoon in their annual Kids Day game beginning at 11:30 a.m. at McCamish Pavilion. Tickets for this game start at just $12.

The Atlanta Dream, who is celebrating its 10th season in the WNBA in 2017, will play its home games in McCamish Pavilion on the Georgia Tech campus. Atlanta has qualified for the playoffs seven times, winning conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
