Atlanta Dream Sign Guard Alexis Prince

ATLANTA – The Atlanta Dream announced that the team has signed free-agent guard Alexis Prince to a seven-day contract.

Originally drafted 29th overall by the Phoenix Mercury in the 2017 WNBA Draft out of Baylor University, Prince appeared in 18 games last season and has career averages of 1.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 7.2 minutes per game.

Prince suited up for Ferrol (Spain) during the offseason, averaging a team-high 16.4 points and grabbing 6.3 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game. Her team reached the Spanish LFB League Semifinals, falling to the eventual champions, Avenida.

A 6-2 guard, she played four seasons for the Baylor Bears and finished her college career averaging 8.1 points and 4.0 rebounds. She shot 36.1 percent from three-point range during her time in Waco, Texas.

The Dream return to action Friday night when they host the Seattle Storm beginning at 7 pm ET inside McCamish Pavilion.
