Reminders About Playoffs Rounds 1 & 2

  • Tickets are for Round 1 and Round 2 of the WNBA Playoffs only
  • We could host 1 or 2 home games in Round 1 and 1-3 home games in Round 2 depending on our final seeding and how the series goes - you will have access to buy for all of these games today
  • All first- and second-round playoff games are currently scheduled to be played at State Farm Arena. Based on playoff dates assigned, the playoff venue is subject to change
  • Ticket availability is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis

Dream Playoff Scenario Round 1:

Round one is a best-of-three series:

  • The higher seed hosts Game 1 and Game 3 (if needed)
  • The lower seed hosts Game 2

Here’s what that means for the Dream:

  • If the Atlanta Dream finish the regular season as a top four seed, we will host Game 1.
    • If our series is tied 1-1 after Game 2 (which would be Away), we will host a Game 3.
    • If the Dream win Game 1 & 2, there is no Game 3 and the Dream advance.
    • If the Atlanta Dream is the lower seed (seeds 5-8) we will host Game 2 only away.

Dream Playoff Scenario Round 2:

Round two is a best-of-five series:

  • The higher seed hosts Game 1 and Game 2
  • The lower seed hosts Game 3 and Game 4 (if needed)
  • The higher seed hosts Game 5 (if needed)

Here’s what that means for the Dream:

  • If the Atlanta Dream reach Round 2 as the higher seed of the matchup, we will host Game 1 and Game 2.
    • If our series is 2-1 after Game 3 (which would be Away), the lower seed team will host a Game 3.
    • If the Dream win Games 1, 2, and 3 there is no Game 4 and the Dream advance.
    • If our series is 2-2 after Game 4 (which would be Away), we will then host the final Game 5.
    • If the Atlanta Dream is the lower seed (seeds 5-8) we will host Game 3 and Game 4 (if needed).
