The Atlanta Dream teamed up with The H.E.R. Foundation, The S.H.E. Foundation and RMC Movers with a special holiday party on Wednesday afternoon at the Atlanta Children’s Shelter to cap off their annual Winter Wear Drive, which benefits the residents of the shelter. Dream head coach Michael Cooper and members of the organization’s staff joined the children for a day of food, fun and games. Some images of the day’s activities are above.
About the Atlanta Children’s Shelter
Founded in 1986 by the Junior League of Atlanta and located in the North Avenue Presbyterian Church, the Atlanta Children’s Shelter provides free, quality day care, emotional support, and educational curriculum for homeless children, and focused social services for their families.
About the H.E.R. Foundation
H.E.R Foundation is a non-profit organization started by two Georgia State University Students that focuses on the development of women, young ladies with absent fathers, and the recognition of women community leaders. Through three specific missions the founders of the organization seek to empower, transform, and inspire women.

Sparkle Hyche is a national stylist, educator and author located in the Atlanta metro area with a passion for supporting the causes of women and children. The S.H.E. vision is to assist people to realize their full potential and give them the confidence and ability to reach all their goals in life.
