ATLANTA, May 18, 2015 – The WNBA Atlanta Dream announced today that it will launch its Inspiring Women E.N.E.R.G.Y. Seminar Series presented by The Coca-Cola Company with a breakfast seminar on Tuesday, May 26, from 7:30 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. at the beverage giant’s global headquarters in Atlanta.

The Inspiring Women E.N.E.R.G.Y. Seminar Series focuses on personal and professional development for women, targeting college level, young professionals and executive level women. Four events will take place during the breakfast window, four will be lunch events, and four events will be held during the evening prior to Dream games.

The first seminar, “How to Build Your Brand,” features Wendy Clark, President, Sparkling Brands & Strategic Marketing for The Coca-Cola Company, as the keynote speaker. Lisa Borders, Chair of The Coca-Cola Foundation and Vice President of Global Community Affairs at The Coca-Cola Company, will moderate a panel discussion with Rushion McDonald, executive producer of the “Steve Harvey” show; Cama Gebhart, founder of the Trilucent Group; Kam Thomas Throckmorton, style expert and founder of Glamkam; and Dream All-Star guard/forward and Olympic Gold Medalist Angel McCoughtry.

Seminar Series,” said Dream President and General Manager Angela Taylor. “Our Inspiring Women platform is a vital component of our organization, and this seminar series is instrumental in our objective to inspire, educate and empower. We look forward to bringing current and aspiring professionals throughout the metro Atlanta area year-round opportunities to engage with other like-minded colleagues to promote professional growth.”

“We are committed to empowering women everywhere we operate; and this series provides opportunities for working women to hear from and network with other women who have enjoyed success in their fields,” said Borders. “When we empower women to succeed, it not only creates a fair and just society, but sows seeds for long-term prosperity in families and communities. Which means when we empower women, it isn’t just women who benefit… but our entire world.”
