Dream Games to Air on FOX Sports South/SportSouth

ATLANTA, March 4, 2013  The Atlanta Dream announced Monday that it has renewed its television partnership with FOX Sports South and SportSouth for the 2013 WNBA season. All Dream home games and a number of road games still to be determined will be televised on FOX Sports South and SportSouth.

The telecast schedule begins with the Dream season opener at home against the Tulsa Shock on Saturday, May 25 at 7 p.m. ET. Both home games against Tamika Catchings and the defending WNBA champion Indiana Fever (June 25 and Sept. 4) will be televised as well. Other key televised matchups from Philips Arena include visits by WNBA stars Maya Moore (Aug. 20 vs. Minnesota), Candace Parker (Sept. 2 vs. Los Angeles) and Diana Taurasi (Sept. 8 vs. Phoenix). The full TV schedule will be announced at a later date.

The two-time Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream will compete in its sixth season in the Womens National Basketball Association (WNBA) in 2013. The Dream qualified for the playoffs in each of the past four seasons, including back-to-back conference titles in 2010 and 2011.
