Five Reasons to Celebrate Hoops for Troops with the Dream

Want to pay your respects to the veterans and active military personnel this weekend? Come out to the Atlanta Dream game at Philips Arena this Sunday, July 3 at 6:00 P.M., for a game dedicated to all of those who have served our great country.  Throughout the Hoops for Troops game, there will be a numerous amount of activities that are military-themed and we will be distributing camouflage key chains to the first 1,500 fans!

Make sure to be early to experience the national anthem where we will invite all active and military vets to come down to the court to help hold the over-sized flag. You will not want to miss out on this all-star matchup between Angel McCoughtry and her Atlanta Dream vs. Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner and their Phoenix Mercury! Get your tickets today!

Pay your respects to the active and veteran military personnel who have protected our country! American-themed music, an over-sized flag, military key chains, and a Military Family of the Game are some of the events that will be going on throughout the afternoon.

    Bring out the kids before the 4th of July fun and experience a fun-filled and exciting Atlanta basketball game! Schools out, so time to plan some fun activities and get out of the hot weather. There will be face painting and fun in the concourse before tip-off so be sure to arrive early!
