Game Notes

ATLANTA – After snapping a five-game slide with a 10-point win over Indiana Wednesday, the Atlanta Dream head to Connecticut to face the Sun Friday, June 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Fans can stream the game live on WSB-TV Now and through WNBA League Pass.

The Dream (2-5) look to avenge an early-season loss to the Sun (8-1), who still hold the best record in the WNBA as the only one-loss team remaining. Connecticut enters Friday’s matchup on a six-game winning streak, with the team’s only loss of the season coming to Los Angeles on May 31.

Tiffany Hayes’ 28 points against the Fever Wednesday stands as the most points by a single player earned in a game in the WNBA this week, while Renee Montgomery’s nine assists in the game is the most any player has seen this week.

Last Time Out: Dream vs. Sun

This is the second meeting in the series between the two teams this season. Earlier this month in Atlanta, Tiffany Hayes and Brittney Sykes each scored 14 points in the Dream’s matchup with the Sun. Atlanta set team highs in offensive, defensive, and total rebounds with 46 total grabs. Atlanta held Connecticut to a season-low 65 points and 21 made field goals.

Atlanta returns home this Sunday to host the Washington Mystics at 3:00 p.m. at State Farm Arena. The game will air nationally on ESPN. Season, group and single game tickets are available now. For more information, visit atlantadream.net or call 877.977.7729.
