Atlanta dropped both of its previous 2019 meetings to the Sparks at home

LOS ANGELES – The Atlanta Dream wrap up their final road trip of the season Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Sparks beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET. Fans can stream the game live on ESPN3.

Atlanta (7-24) dropped the first game of their two-game road trip at Seattle Sunday evening. The Dream, who trailed by as much as 20 points early on, came within four points of the Storm with 4:00 minutes to go but couldn’t complete the comeback. Renee Montgomery and Monique Billings finished with 15 points apiece in the loss. The Sparks (19-12) sit in fourth place overall in the WNBA standings after dropping a 92-86 decision at the Las Vegas Aces Saturday. Riquana Williams led Los Angeles with 37 points but it was not enough.

LAST TIME VS. SPARKS

Nneka Ogwumike had 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists, Tierra Ruffin-Pratt made six of Los Angeles’ nine 3-pointers, and the Sparks closed on a 15-1 run to beat the Atlanta Dream 78-66 on July 23. Billings scored a career-high 16 points for Atlanta. The Dream also dropped their first meeting of the season against Los Angeles, 76-71, in overtime at home.
