“Pet Palooza” To Be Held During Dream-Mystics Game Sunday

ATLANTA (September 4, 2015) – The Atlanta Dream will partner with Atlanta Pet Rescue and Adoption (APRA) and Pet Pages to hold a “Pet Palooza” event during its home game against the Washington Mystics on Sunday, September 6 at Philips Arena.  Tip time is slated for 3 p.m.

“Pet Palooza” will be held throughout the game on the main concourse of Philips Arena and will feature a variety of pet vendors with unique pet products as well as pets on site.

Each of the pet vendors will be featuring a special pet-friendly product with some offering giveaways as well as contests to win items for your pets.  In addition, fans are encouraged to watch throughout the game for a special competition between the Atlanta Dream mascot and the mascot of the APRA.

“Pet Palooza” is part of an overall partnership between the Atlanta Dream and the APRA and Pet Pages and represents the Dream’s support of the Atlanta pet community and pet welfare. As part of the partnership, the Dream are working to raise money and supplies for pet wellness. Collection bins will be on hand to accept donations for pet supplies to benefit the APRA.
