Getting to Know: Jordan Doak

The Atlanta Dream sat down with spring intern Jordan Doak to learn little more about her:

  1. What college did/are you go(ing) to and what did you study(ing)?
Emory University (graduating May 2019); studying Business with a concentration in Organization and Management
  2. What’s the last show you binge watched?
  3. What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
I looove going out and exploring Atlanta and my favorite things to do on the weekends (when the weather is nice especially!) include walking on the beltline, getting brunch, and exploring Atlanta’s different farmer’s markets
    1. What are you passionate about?
Women’s empowerment, sports, accomplishing major projects

      1. What are you looking forward to the most in your first Dream season?
Starting the season! I’m really excited to see how we can work with the players and coaches to define our team personality! I’m also excited to define the Dream fan and hopefully then open doors for our own marketing and corporate sponsorships.
      1. Did you play any sports growing up or in high school?
I played soccer through college at Emory (although I was injured the majority of my final two years), and also ran track in high school
      1. What’s your favorite food?
Steak — in a perfect world surf & turf. Or tapas
      1. If you could have dinner with anyone, living or dead who would it be and why?
Reese Witherspoon (hear me out) — she is an active and ardent feminist, chases her dreams from acting to producing, and created her own company built around supporting women… and she always seems so happy. I want her secret.
      1. If you could visit anywhere in the world where would it be?
Right now I’m dying to go to Sicily — I need a vacation and it was recently “Italian week” when I was watching a cooking show… (I’m not looking to get into the fine print as to whether Sicily is or isn’t Italy but hey they have Italian food and are an island)
      1. Who is your favorite artist? Music?
Ed Sheeran. I can’t explain it I just love him and his music so much — I was one of his first 80K followers on Twitter so less of a bandwagon-er at least.
      1. What is your Dream job?
I’m at that point in my life where I’m not sure where I’m going quite yet…
      1. What movie can you watch on repeat?
