ATLANTA – The Atlanta Dream’s final homestand of the season ends Sunday as the team hosts the New York Liberty at State Farm Arena beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET. Fans in the southeast can stream the game live through WSB-TV Now.
Atlanta (8-25) has gone 3-3 in its last six games, defeating New York and Dallas on the road at the end of August. Most recently, the Dream took down Las Vegas at home on Thursday with only nine available players.
New York (9-24) dropped an 86-81 decision to Indiana on Friday. With the loss, the Liberty clinched the best chance to win the WNBA draft lottery with the worst two-year record in the league.
Last Time Out: Dream vs. Liberty
All five starters scored in double digits as the Dream beat the Liberty in White Plains to snap a 12-game losing streak. Renee Montgomery led with 18 points and made the go-ahead contested layup with 15.8 seconds on the clock. Jessica Breland scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for her 20th career double-double.
The Atlanta Dream, who are celebrating their 12th season in the WNBA in 2019, played their home games in State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta. The Dream have qualified for the playoffs nine times, winning conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
