Atlanta Dream Travel to Seattle Friday

Dream Game Notes

SEATTLE – After dropping a tough game in Minnesota on Tuesday, the Atlanta Dream continue their road trip with a game at the fifth-place Seattle Storm on Friday night at 10:00 p.m. ET at Alaska Airlines Arena. Fans can stream the game on WSB-TV Now or WNBA League Pass.

Atlanta, which fell to Seattle, 82-66, in their first meeting of the season back on May 31 at State Farm Arena, will look to upend the Storm, who are coming off back-to-back home loses.

Tiffany Hayes is leading the Dream with 12.1 points per game. Atlanta’s rotation got deeper this past week as Alex Bentley returned from her appearance in Eurobasket and has rejoined the team. She played a team-high 27 minutes in her first game back against the Lynx.

Last Time Out: Dream vs. Storm

The last time these two teams met, the Storm handed the Dream their first loss of the season. Brittney Sykes scored 12 first-half points, but the Storm — led by Natasha Howard and Jordin Canada — turned a 45-27 halftime lead into an 82-66 win. Monique Billings and Tiffany Hayes each contributed 9 points for the Dream. Three Dream players grabbed eight rebounds — Billings, Jessica Breland and Nia Coffey.

The Dream will continue their west-coast road trip with a game at Phoenix on Sunday afternoon. After that, the Dream return home for three games in five days beginning on Wednesday, July 10 at 11:00 a.m. against the Connecticut Sun.
