All of us at the Atlanta Dream would like to make your renewal process easy. Please read over these frequently asked questions to answer some of the items that may pop up. Please feel free to contact your account executive if you would like to discuss things further. Thank you for helping the Dream Defend the ATL in 2019.

Q: Where will the Dream play in 2019?
A: See OUR ARENA page.

Q: How will seat assignments occur once the arena has been finalized?
A: Once the arena has been finalized and at the first opportunity to gain access TO that arena, we will begin the process of seat selection based on the following criteria:

First selections will go to those people that have made the full commitment (paid in full) by the time these selections occur (estimated to be in late October/early November) in the following order:

  1.   2018 Dream Elite Member & Founding Fan of the organization
  2.  2018 Dream Elite Courtside/Baseline Member
  3.  2018 Dream Elite Member – non-courtside/baseline
  4.   2018 Flex/Partial Plan Purchaser
  5.  Returning Founding Fan
  6.   Returning Courtside/Baseline Member
  7.   Returning Dream Elite Member – non-courtside/baseline
  8.   New Membership (of any kind)

The next round of selections will go to those people who have made a deposit for the 2019 season, and will occur in the order as previously described. See above.

Each category will be fulfilled by date of 2019 membership purchase (for instance, the first selection will go to the first Founding Fan AND 2018 season ticket holder that purchases for the 2019 season.)

Q: If I am on the auto-renewal (forevermore known as Always Dream), where do I fit in the order of selection?
A: If you elected auto-renewal as part of your 2018 renewal, you are considered the very first to pay for the upcoming season, based on the method of payment (pay-in-full vs. payment plan/deposit).

Q: Why should I become/return as a Dream Elite member
A: Every WNBA’s team’s greatest assets off the court are their members, and this organization has a great desire and NEED to grow the membership to continue to operate as a good business. We hope that the Dream Elite have found the new perks of being a member, the commitment to keeping prices the most affordable of any team in this city and the willingness to listen to our membership as reasons to continue supporting this team in 2019. For anyone who missed the highlights for 2018 members, please see below:

  • New membership perks included:
    o Complimentary seats to each of the first six games of the season for all All-Star level members and above.
    o Complimentary 10-ticket group night per seat for all MVP members and above.
    o Complimentary auction item fulfillment for all courtside members.
    o Upgraded membership gifts, including glass tumblers for renewing in season in 2018.
  • New events included:Buffet dinner for our renewing members prior to the last game of the season.
    o Open happy hour for all courtside members to meet head coach Nicki Collen before her introduction to the membership as a whole.
    o A change in the annual draft event for this year – we moved this to the day after the draft when the coaching staff could spend more time with the membership, answering specific questions about what occurred during the selection process, how they rated our draft and what our draftees would contribute to the Dream.
    o Lunch at the Sun Dial (Westin) with the coaches for all courtside members to meet and dine one-on-one with the new staff.

    •  The most obvious change occurred on the hardwood, with a new coaching staff and system of play on the court. From moves during free agency to an excellent draft to the return of one of the league’s top stars, the Dream coaches have assembled one of the league’s most talented rosters.
