Angel McCoughtry tabbed eight points, four rebounds and a pair of assists in the U.S. Olympic Team’s 101-72 victory over Spain on Saturday in the gold medal game at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
For the tournament, McCoughtry posted averages of 9.4 points and 3.6 rebounds over eight games while shooting a .600 (31-for-51) clip from the field.
The gold medal marks the United States’ sixth consecutive and it now owns a 49-game Olympic win streak and an overall record of 66-3 since beginning play in 1976.
