Stats: Elizabeth Williams earned the 2016 WNBA Most Improved Player award after finishing the season averaging 11.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocks over the course of the season. Williams, who was traded to the Dream prior to the season for the No. 4 draft pick, played 34.5 minutes per game and became the anchor of the Dream’s defense.

Notable Performances:
June 30 at Los Angeles: Pulled off a double-double at the Sparks with 15 points and 10 rebounds, her second of the season.

June 12 vs. Connecticut: Recorded her first career double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds against the Sun in addition to a career-high five assists in the Dream victory.

May 24 at New York: Scored 16 points while adding eight rebounds and four blocks in the Dream’s road victory over the Liberty.
