ATLANTA (July 6, 2017)—The Atlanta Dream will host a pair of games at McCamish Pavilion this weekend. The first is against the Indiana Fever Friday at 7:30 p.m.
The Dream (6-8) are coming off an 84-94 loss to the Dallas Wings on Wednesday. Despite a team-high 16 points from guard Tiffany Hayes and three other Dream players scoring in double figures, the Dream were unable to bounce back from Wings guard Allisha Gray’s 4-point play late in the fourth quarter.
The Fever (7-8) are coming off an 85-91 loss to the Connecticut Sun. Although forward Shenise Johnson contributed 22 points and guard Erica Wheeler added another 16, the Fever could not overcome the Sun.
This will be the second meeting between the Fever and the Dream this season. The Fever won the last matchup 85-74 in Indiana, but the Dream will have home court advantage this time around.
It will be a quick turnaround for the Dream as they host the Wings on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The Wings (9-9) are also coming to Atlanta for the first time this season after beating the Dream in Dallas Wednesday.
