Atlanta Look to Bounce Back Friday Against Chicago

The Dream are hosting its annual Dream Pink night presented by Grady Health Foundation

ATLANTA –The Atlanta Dream is hosting its annual Dream Pink night presented by the Grady Health Foundation Friday when it welcomes the Chicago Sky to McCamish Pavilion beginning at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on FOX Sports Southeast.

ATLANTA DREAM GAME NOTES

The Dream’s eight-game winning streak ended after it fell to the Washington Mystics, 86-71, Tuesday night. Tiffany Hayes led Atlanta (16-10) in scoring with 18 points. Yesterday afternoon, Hayes was named WNBA Player of the Month for the second time over her seven years in the league. She is the only second-round draft pick to ever earn the award.

Chicago (10-17) returns to action after defeating the Dallas Wings, 92-91, Tuesday night. Allie Quigley led the Sky in scoring with 22 points.

The two teams will meet for the third and final time this season Friday. The series is tied at 1-1, with Chicago winning most recently, 93-80, on June 27 in Chicago.

Atlanta will wear new Nike pink uniforms Friday evening as part of WNBA Breast Healthcare Awareness week. The Dream are handing out 2,000 pink t-shirts prior to the game and are hosting multiple fundraising efforts throughout the night including a game-worn jersey auction and a postgame Toss 4 Ta-Tas game.
