Atlanta Dream Return Home Thursday vs. Fever

The Dream will celebrate Superhero Kids Day presented by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

ATLANTA – After finishing 2-1 on a west coast three-game road trip, the Atlanta Dream will return home to take on the Indiana Fever Thursday, June 14 at 11:30 a.m. The Dream will be hosting its “Superhero Kid’s Day” game presented by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at McCamish Pavilion. The game will be televised by FOX Sports South locally and NBA TV nationally.

The Dream (5-4) dropped a tough 72-64 battle at the Los Angeles Sparks Tuesday night. Tiffany Hayes, who was named this WNBA’s Player of the Week on Monday, led the Dream in scoring with 16 points, while Jessica Breland finished with 14 points and six rebounds. Breland is six rebounds away from her 1,000th career rebound.

Atlanta and Indiana (0-9) will play the first of a back-to-back series, with the second game Saturday night in Indianapolis. The Dream went head-to-head with the Fever three times last season, resulting in a 2-1 record for the Dream.

The Atlanta Dream will play its home games in McCamish Pavilion on the Georgia Tech campus. Atlanta has qualified for the playoffs seven times, winning conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
