Atlanta Dream Launches Jr. Dream Program

ATLANTA (March 22, 2017) – The Atlanta Dream, committed to inspiring youth throughout the Southeast, has launched its Jr. Dream program, the organization announced Wednesday.

By utilizing the organizations four pillars – Education, Health & Wellness, Diversity & Inclusion and Inspiring Women – the Dream will encourage character building, leadership and wellness. The program will tip-off this summer with the Jr. Dream Basketball Camps.

The Jr. Dream Basketball Camps, open to girls and boys ages 5-14, will learn the game of basketball in a fun environment led by Atlanta Dream players, Head Coach Michael Cooper and coaching staff plus other experienced basketball skill development coaches. Camps will be held on May 28th, June 24-25, and July 24-26 at Riverside EpiCenter in Austell, GA.

The Dream will play its home games in McCamish Pavilion on the Georgia Tech campus in 2017. Atlanta has qualified for the playoffs seven times, winning conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
