Atlanta Can Clinch WNBA Finals Spot Tuesday Night at Home

The series is tied 2-2 after falling Sunday to Washington
 
ATLANTA– The Atlanta Dream look to close out the series with the Washington Mystics in a decisive Game 5 of the 2018 WNBA Semifinals in Atlanta, Ga. inside McCamish Pavilion Tuesday beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN2 with Pam Ward, Kara Lawson and LaChina Robinson on the call.
 
ATLANTA DREAM PLAYOFF NOTES
 
The second-seeded Dream (2-2) return to action after falling to the Mystics (3-2), 97-76, Sunday night. Renee Montgomery recorded her first career double-double behind 12 points and 10 assists. Six Dream players finished the game in double figures (Brittney Sykes-12, Tiffany Hayes-12, Montgomery-12, Jessica Breland-12, Monique Billings-11, Alex Bentley-11). 
 
Mystics guard Kristi Toliver led Washington in scoring with 22 points and seven assists. Ariel Atkins added 19 points.
 
The winner of Tuesday’s game will earn a spot in the 2018 WNBA Finals against the winner of the Phoenix/Seattle series, which has also gone five games. With a win, the Dream will either travel to Seattle for Game 1 or host Phoenix depending on the outcome of that series. Atlanta has been to the WNBA Finals three previous times (2010, 2011, 2013).
 
Atlanta is now 6-3 all-time against Washington and 3-2 at home in the playoffs.
