Stats: Acquired by the Atlanta Dream prior to the start of the 2016 season, Layshia Clarendon quickly earned the starting point guard role. She started 32 of 34 regular season games for the Dream and finished the season averaging 10.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists. The guard also logged a career-high 28.2 minutes per contest in 2016.

Notable Performances:
August 28 vs. Connecticut: Tied her career-high with 19 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists in the Dream’s win over the Sun.

July 17 vs. Los Angeles: Led the Dream to an upset victory over the eventual champion Los Angeles Sparks with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

May 20 at Indiana: In her first start for the Dream, Clarendon set a new career-high with 19 points and grabbed six boards in 31 minutes of action against the Fever.
