Dream to Host Open Practice at Benjamin E. Banneker High School on May 10

ATLANTA, April 7, 2014 � The Atlanta Dream will begin its 2014 �Take the Show on the Road� campaign with a visit to Benjamin E. Banneker High School in College Park on Saturday, May 10. It will be the first of four open practices at various high schools across the region by the Dream this year.

The event is open to the public and will run from 4-5:30 p.m. The event will begin with a full-team practice, and following practice fans will engage in a question and answer session as well as a team autograph session. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to participate in contests with Dream players/coaches and win prizes. Tickets for the upcoming 2013 Dream season will also be available for purchase during the event.

In addition, the Dream has announced the rest of its �Take the Show on the Road� schedule for 2014. The program will also take place June 10 at Salem High School in Conyers, June 25 at Dutchtown High School in Hampton, and July 10 at Samson�s Health and Fitness Center in Lithonia.

Admission for all Take the Show on the Road events includes one ticket to any upcoming Dream game. The admission cost is $20, unless the purchaser selects a ticket for Dream games against Seattle (May 30), Los Angeles (June 3), Chicago (June 7, July 13, July 25), Minnesota (June 13) or Phoenix (August 13), in which case the admission cost is $30. For each ticket purchased, $5 will go back to the host school to help provide equipment and supplies for the school.
