ATLANTA DREAM SIGNS THREE PLAYERS TO TRAINING CAMP CONTRACTS
- Georgia Tech forward Chelsea Regins among training camp invitees -

ATLANTA, April 26, 2012�The Atlanta Dream announced today the team has signed forwards Chelsea Regins and Aishah Sutherland and guard Brittany Johnson to training camp contracts.

Regins, a 6-2 forward, helped Georgia Tech to its best season in school history during her senior season. The Yellow Jackets finished with a 26-9 record and its first ever Sweet 16 appearance. Regins averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game in 35 games. A versatile player who played both post and the guard position, Regins shot a team-high 54.8% from the field.

Sutherland, a 6-2 forward, earned All-Big 12 honorable mention accolades as a senior. She finished her career at Kansas as the school�s second all-time leading shot blocker and third-best rebounder. Sutherland led the Jayhawks to their first Sweet 16 appearance in 14 years, averaging 13.9 points and 8.9 rebounds as a senior. She is only the 15th player in program history to total over 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in her career, and was one of four players in the Big 12 to rank in the top 10 in scoring and rebounding.

Johnson, a 5-11 guard, played in Greece for Panionios Athens and averaged 21.7 points in the 2011-12 season. She started every game for Ohio State as a junior and senior. As a senior during the 2010-11 season, she averaged 10.9 points and shot 45% from beyond the arc in 34 games. She finished her career ranked third on the Buckeyes� all-time list for three point field goals made with 216 in her career. Johnson was an All-Big Ten honorable mention selection as a junior.

The Atlanta Dream tips off its fifth season this summer at Philips Arena as part of the Women�s National Basketball Association (WNBA), the world�s longest-running women�s professional sports league.
