ATLANTA, January 15, 2010 - WNBA Atlanta Dream honored Redan High School in DeKalb County as the Team of the Week, in a partnership with WXIA�s �Operation Basketball.� Dream forward Jennifer Lacy presented the Lady Raiders with the award at practice this week.

Under the guidance of Redan's Coach Jerry Jackson, the defending 5A state champions are off to a perfect 12-0 start this season. Seniors Alisha Andrews and Nia Evans look to extend Redan�s 39-game win streak in Friday night�s matchup against Stephenson. Both teams are undefeated. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 pm at Stephenson.

The Team of the Week program is part of WXIA�s �Operation Basketball,� which honors boys and girls basketball teams throughout the metro Atlanta area. The show airs each Friday night during the 6 pm and 11 p.m. newscast on WXIA.

The Dream tips off its third season this summer at Philips Arena, with the home opener slated for May 16 against the Indiana Fever at 7 pm.
