Atlanta Dream Skills Academy Presented by Georgia Power to be Held Nov. 12

ATLANTA, Nov. 11, 2013  The Atlanta Dream Skills Academy presented by Georgia Power, a youth basketball clinic featuring Atlanta Dream player Jasmine Thomas, will be held Nov. 12 at New Manchester High School in Douglasville, Ga. Participants will include female basketball players at the freshman, junior varsity and varsity levels for the high school.

The Atlanta Dream Skills Academy presented by Georgia Power is designed for basketball players of all skill levels who want to improve their fundamentals. Participants receive special instruction from Atlanta Dream players, coaches and Skills Academy staff, a Skills Academy t-shirt, a lower-level ticket to a future Atlanta Dream game and access to the Special Georgia Power Get Plugged In Q&A Session with Thomas.

The three-time Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream completed its sixth season in the Womens National Basketball Association (WNBA) in 2013 with a trip to the WNBA Finals. The Dream has qualified for the playoffs in each of the past five seasons, including conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
