Overseas Update - Dec. 20

With the Brazilian league on a break, only two of the Dream's four overseas players were in action since the last update, with Angel McCoughtry and Aneika Henry both playing for their Turkish clubs. An updated review of how each player is performing follows below:

Erika de Souza � Sport Recife (Brazil): Sport Recife has not played since improving to 3-0 on Dec. 9. The league is currently on a break and will resume play on Jan. 10. In de Souza�s only game of the year thus far in the Nov. 30 season opener, she posted a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.

Tiffany Hayes � Sport Recife (Brazil): Sport Recife has not played since improving to 3-0 on Dec. 9. The league is currently on a break and will resume play on Jan. 10. Hayes is averaging 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists in the three games this season.

Aneika Henry � Homend Antakya Belediyesi (Turkey): Henry�s team lost a pair of games since our last update, first falling to Dynamo Kursk in a EuroCup game, 82-76 on Dec. 12, then dropping a 68-53 Turkish League game to Botas on Dec. 16. In the EuroCup game, Henry totaled 16 points and 14 rebounds, but it wasn�t enough to defeat the first-place Dynamo team that includes Seimone Augustus, Epiphanny Prince and Candice Dupree. Antakya finished the EuroCup regular season with a 2-4 mark for third place in Group A, with Henry averaging 12.5 points and 12.5 rebounds. In her team�s loss to Botas, Henry collected 15 points, nine boards and three steals. She is averaging 13.9 points and 9.0 rebounds in Turkish League games, while her team is 6-5 and in sixth place.

Angel McCoughtry � Fenerbahce (Turkey): McCoughtry played in two EuroLeague games since our last update, helping her team to a pair of victories to improve to 6-0 in the league. During an 84-60 victory over Rivas Ecopolis on Dec. 11, she had 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. On Dec. 18 in a 68-60 victory over IMOS Brno, she collected 14 points, six boards and a pair of steals. She is now averaging 17.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals in six EuroLeague games. She did not play in a Dec. 14 Turkish League victory over TED Ankara as Fenerbahce improved to 9-2 with a 71-59 victory. McCoughtry is averaging 17.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 4.0 steals in seven Turkish League contests.
