Overseas Update - Dec. 10

The Dream's four overseas players played on teams that went a combined 5-1 last week, with the only loss coming when Angel McCoughtry's and Aneika Henry's teams played each other. An updated review of how each player is performing follows below:

Erika de Souza � Sport Recife (Brazil): Sport Recife improved to 3-0 with a pair of victories in the past week. However, de Souza did not play in either contest. She had posted a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 15 rebounds in the team�s season opener a week earlier.

Tiffany Hayes � Sport Recife (Brazil): Sport Recife improved to 3-0 with a pair of victories in the past week. On Dec. 7 during a 67-53 victory over Ourinhos Basquete, Hayes had eight points, six rebounds and three assists. Two nights later she had 14 points, four boards and three assists in a 72-46 win over Rio Claro Basquete. She is now averaging 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists this season.

Aneika Henry � Homend Antakya Belediyesi (Turkey): Henry played twice last week and has now played in nine Turkish League games and five Eurocup games for Antakya this season. In the Turkish League, she totaled 11 points and 10 rebounds in an 81-46 loss to Angel McCoughtry�s Fenerbahce team, and now averages 13.8 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.1 blocks for her team, which is in fifth place with a 6-4 record. She is averaging 11.8 points, 12.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in her five Eurocup games after collecting 11 points and 10 boards in an 83-64 victory over Tsmoki-Minsk, with her team now holding a 2-3 record in those contests.

Angel McCoughtry � Fenerbahce (Turkey): McCoughtry played in one of Fenerbahce�s two wins last week. On Dec. 4, she had 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting, five rebounds and four steals in a 73-55 win over Lattes Montpellier as Fenerbahce moved to 4-0 in the EuroLeague. On Dec. 8, she did not play as Fenerbahce improved to 8-2 in the Turkish League with an 81-46 win over Aneika Henry and Antakya. McCoughtry is now averaging 17.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 4.0 steals in seven Turkish League contests, and 19.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.8 steals in four EuroLeague games. In all contests, she is shooting 54.8 percent from the field.
