Overseas Update - Nov. 26

The Dream still has only two players currently playing in league seasons overseas, but that will soon change as the Brazilian league is set to begin, with three Dream players on one team. The other two players are enjoying fine starts to their season in Turkey. Information on all five players follows below:

Aneika Henry � Homend Antakya Belediyesi (Turkey): Henry has played in seven Turkish League games and three Eurocup games for Antakya this season. In the Turkish League, she has averaged 14.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks for her team, which is in fifth place with a 5-3 record. She is averaging 12.0 points, 13.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in her three Eurocup games, with her team holding a 1-2 record in those contests.

Angel McCoughtry � Fenerbahce (Turkey): McCoughtry has played in six Turkish League games and two Euroleague games with Fenerbahce this season. She is averaging 18.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 4.3 steals in the Turkish League for Fenerbahce, which is in third place with a 6-2 record. She has also helped Fenerbahce start off 2-0 in Euroleague contests by averaging 14.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 4.0 steals in the two games. In all contests, she is shooting 57.3 percent from the field.

Alex Bentley, Erika de Souza and Tiffany Hayes - Sport Recife (Brazil): Bentley, de Souza and Hayes are all scheduled to compete for defending league champion Sport Recife when the Brazilian league opens its season Nov. 30. The team is currently in Spain, competing a series of friendly contests to prepare for the start of the league season.
