Overseas Update - Feb. 18

Angel McCoughtry's team remained perfect in EuroLeague contests, while Sancho Lyttle's team kept the upper hand in the Turkish League, and the Dream trio in Brazil won a pair of contests. Updates on all of the Dream's overseas players follows below:

Alex Bentley� Sport Recife (Brazil): Bentley scored nine points and grabbed two boards during a 67-61 victory over Maranhao on Feb. 15, then did not play on Feb. 17 during her club�s 60-49 win over Ourinhos. Bentley has played in six games for Sport Recife, averaging 9.2 points per contest.

Erika de Souza � Sport Recife (Brazil): During a 67-61 victory over Maranhao on Feb. 15, de Souza scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds. Two nights later she scored a team-high 18 points and added three rebounds and a pair of assists as Sport Recife defeated Ourimbah, 60-49, to improve to 10-1. In 10 games this season for Sport Recife, de Souza is averaging 9.3 points and 6.8 rebounds.

Tiffany Hayes � Sport Recife (Brazil): Hayes had a team-high 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds during a 67-61 victory over Maranhao on Feb. 15, then scored 17 points with four rebounds as Sport Recife beat Ourimbah, 60-49, on Feb. 17 to improve to 10-1. Hayes is now averaging 12.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists while playing in all 11 of the team�s games this season.

Aneika Henry � Homend Antakya Belediyesi (Turkey): Antakya dropped its lone game of the week, falling to Tarsus Bld by a score of 68-50 on Feb. 16 to fall to 9-11 in the Turkish League. Henry had game highs of 18 points and 12 rebounds in the loss for her eight double-double of the season, and third in a row. She is now averaging 13.7 points and 9.5 rebounds � which ranks sixth in the league � in 18 Turkish League games for Antakya. Antakya had also previously finished the EuroCup regular season with a 2-4 mark for third place in Group A, with Henry averaging 12.5 points and 12.5 rebounds.

Sancho Lyttle � Galatasaray (Turkey): Galatasaray won its only game of the week, routing Canik Bld in a Turkish League game on Feb. 15 by a score of 94-57 to improve to 19-1. Lyttle was needed for just 19 minutes in the victory, and contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists. In 10 Turkish League games this season, she is now averaging 11.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists. Her team did not play in EuroLeague competition last week, and remains 6-4 in Group C with Lyttle averaging 15.0 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in five EuroLeague games.

Angel McCoughtry � Fenerbahce (Turkey): Fenerbahce won in both the EuroLeague and Turkish League again last week. On Feb. 12 in the EuroLeague, McCoughtry had nine points and two rebounds during an easy 78-50 victory over Lattes Montpellier. The win improved Fenerbahce�s record to 10-0 in Group B, with McCoughtry averaging 15.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.8 steals and 1.9 assists in those games. On Feb. 15, Fenerbahce escaped with an 80-79 overtime victory against Botas to improve to 18-2 in the Turkish League. McCoughtry had team highs of 23 points, 11 rebounds and three steals, plus four assists, and is now averaging 15.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 2.9 assists in 16 Turkish League games.

Le'Coe Willingham � Conquero (Spain): Willingham played in three games for the Spanish League team in January, but is no longer a part of the team. She averaged 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in her three games with the squad.
