Overseas Update - Jan. 15

A victory by one Dream player's overseas team against another Dream player's overseas team in the final of the Turkish Cup highlights the latest overseas update. In addition, a sixth member of the team is now active overseas, as Le'Coe Willingham is playing in Spain. Updates on all of the Dream's overseas players follows below:

Erika de Souza � Sport Recife (Brazil): Sport Recife defeated Santo Andre by a score of 82-62 on Jan. 10 to improve to 4-0 this season. In the victory, de Souza collected 15 points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots. It was just her second game of the season, having previously posted a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 15 rebounds in the team�s Nov. 30 season opener.

Tiffany Hayes � Sport Recife (Brazil): Sport Recife defeated Santo Andre by a score of 82-62 on Jan. 10 to improve to 4-0 this season. Hayes led her team in scoring with 19 points and added eight rebounds. Hayes is averaging 14.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in the four games this season.

Aneika Henry � Homend Antakya Belediyesi (Turkey): Henry�s team has not played since Dec. 29. Henry is averaging 13.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 13 Turkish League games for Antakya, which is 7-7 and in sixth place. Antakya had also previously finished the EuroCup regular season with a 2-4 mark for third place in Group A, with Henry averaging 12.5 points and 12.5 rebounds.

Sancho Lyttle � Galatasaray (Turkey): Lyttle helped Galatasaray win its fifth consecutive Turkish Cup and 11th all-time with a 76-70 victory over Fenerbahce on Jan. 11. Lyttle had 14 points, nine rebounds and three assists in the championship game victory. She had scored six points with six rebounds in a semifinal victory, and has 12 points in the quarterfinal round game. In four Turkish League games this season prior to the Turkish Cup, Lyttle has averaged 12.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 20.8 minutes per game for her team, which is 13-1 and in first place in the league. Galatasaray is also 5-1 and tied for first in Group C in EuroLeague competition.

Angel McCoughtry � Fenerbahce (Turkey): Fenerbahce fell in the championship game of the Turkish Cup on Jan. 11 to Galatasaray by a score of 76-70, despite 13 points, four rebounds and four assists from McCoughtry. She helped Fenerbahce reach the finals by scoring 21 points in a semifinal round victory, and had 11 points and six boards in a quarterfinal round win. McCoughtry is averaging 16.0 points, 5.9 rebounds. 3.5 steals and 2.8 assists in 10 Turkish League games for Fenerbahce, which is 12-2. In EuroLeague competition, she is averaging 17.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals in six games, which have all been victories.

Le'Coe Willingham � Conquero (Spain): Willingham played in her first game for her new Spanish League team on Jan. 11, totaling five points and five rebounds in a 70-64 loss to Uni Girona. Conquero is 5-7 and in ninth place in the Spanish League.
