Lindsey Harding to Speak at TEDx Event

ATLANTA, Nov. 28, 2012  The Atlanta Dreams Lindsey Harding will be one of the featured speakers at the TEDxCentennialParkWomen event on Saturday, Dec. 1. The event will take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and be held at the UPS Global Headquarters (55 Glenlake Parkway, Sandy Springs, GA).

TEDxCentennialParkWomens mission is to help curate and share ideas worth spreading that educate, inspire and empower women. Harding will be one of nine speakers at the event, and will deliver a speech titled The Space Between: Getting and Giving.

Harding was selected after going through a rigorous screening process that narrowed down the list of applicants for the event. Also among the selected speakers is John Brock, husband of Dream co-owner Mary Brock and the Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprises.

The two-time Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream will compete in its sixth season in the Womens National Basketball Association (WNBA) in 2013. The Dream qualified for the playoffs in each of the past four seasons, including back-to-back conference titles in 2010 and 2011.
