ATLANTA, Nov. 28, 2012 The Atlanta Dreams Lindsey Harding will be one of the featured speakers at the TEDxCentennialParkWomen event on Saturday, Dec. 1. The event will take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and be held at the UPS Global Headquarters (55 Glenlake Parkway, Sandy Springs, GA).
TEDxCentennialParkWomens mission is to help curate and share ideas worth spreading that educate, inspire and empower women. Harding will be one of nine speakers at the event, and will deliver a speech titled The Space Between: Getting and Giving.
Harding was selected after going through a rigorous screening process that narrowed down the list of applicants for the event. Also among the selected speakers is John Brock, husband of Dream co-owner Mary Brock and the Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprises.
The two-time Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream will compete in its sixth season in the Womens National Basketball Association (WNBA) in 2013. The Dream qualified for the playoffs in each of the past four seasons, including back-to-back conference titles in 2010 and 2011.
