ATLANTA, August 23, 2010 - The Atlanta Dream will open the 2010 WNBA Playoffs on the road against the Washington Mystics on Wednesday, August 25. Tip-off is set for 7 pm ET.

The Dream will be the No. 4 seed when the Eastern Conference Semifinals get underway, facing the top-seeded Washington Mystics. The Mystics earned home-court advantage in the 1-1-1 playoff format.

The Dream travels to Washington for Game 1 on Wednesday, August 25 at 7 pm ET. The Dream returns home for Game 2 on Friday, August 27 at 7:30 pm ET. If necessary, the Mystics will host Game 3 on Sunday, August 29 at 4 pm ET. All three games will be nationally televised on NBA TV and Game 2 will be televised locally by FOX Sports South.

The Dream makes its second playoff appearance in three seasons under Head Coach Marynell Meadors. Atlanta finished the regular season with a record of 19-15. Washington wrapped up the regular season with a 22-12 record, winning three of four regular season matchups against the Dream.
