YOUNG BROADWAY STAR TO PERFORM NATIONAL ANTHEM FOR ATLANTA DREAM

--Teen Actress/Singer Looks Forward to Seeing WNBA Team--

Atlanta, June 16, 2008- On June 18, 2008, 13-year-old actress/singer India Scandrick will perform the National Anthem for the WNBA's Atlanta Dream prior to the team�s game against the San Antonio Silver Stars. This will be another highlight in a year of milestones for the Fayetteville native.

In 2007, Scandrick made her Broadway debut as Young Nala in The Lion King. She had already acted professionally in Annie and A Christmas Carol, but appearing on Broadway was a dream come true for Scandrick. In addition to acting, Scandrick is an accomplished singer. She has performed her debut single, �Wrong Move,� for thousands of young fans all across Georgia. Last month, India unveiled her newest singles �Your Girl� and �Fire� at the 2008 Kids International Expo in Orlando, Florida.

Scandrick, who also plays point guard for her community team, is excited to see her first Atlanta Dream game live. "I'm honored to perform the National Anthem, but I'm most excited to be there watching the team play," Scandrick said. "I love basketball and it's great for girls to have the Dream players right here in Atlanta."

The Dream tipped off their inaugural season at Philips Arena with back-to-back sellouts on May 23 and May 25, 2008. The team was officially announced as the 14th team in the WNBA on October 17, 2007. The Dream are members of the WNBA�s Eastern conference which also includes the Chicago Sky, Connecticut Sun, Detroit Shock, Indiana Fever, New York Liberty and Washington Mystics.
