--Team To Host �Wishes and Dreams Night� at Philips Arena on July 1, 2008--

Atlanta, June 24, 2008--In partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation� of Georgia and Alabama, the Atlanta Dream will host �Wishes and Dreams Night� at Philips Arena on July 1, 2008. Join in the fun and help make a child�s wish come true by purchasing tickets today for the �Wishes and Dreams Night� as the Dream take on Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury in a nationally televised contest. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 pm at Philips Arena.

Tickets for the July 1 game are available for only $20 with $10 from each ticket donated back to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia and Alabama. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. In its 13th year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia and Alabama operates on a budget of over $4 million with 79 percent of all funds used for granting wishes to children.

The Dream tipped off their inaugural season at Philips Arena with back-to-back sellouts on May 23 and May 25, 2008. The team was officially announced as the 14th team in the WNBA on October 17, 2007. The Dream are members of the WNBA�s Eastern conference which also includes the Chicago Sky, Connecticut Sun, Detroit Shock, Indiana Fever, New York Liberty and Washington Mystics.
