ATLANTA, September 4, 2011 � The Atlanta Dream is headed back to the playoffs for a third straight time in the franchise�s fourth season. The Dream clinched a postseason berth with today�s 73-52 victory over the Tulsa Shock.

With today�s win, the Dream moved to 18-14 with two regular season games remaining. Atlanta trails the third-place New York Liberty by � game. New York (18-13) is in action this afternoon against the Minnesota Lynx. The Dream, the defending Eastern Conference Champions, got off to a rough start this season, losing nine of its first 12 games. Atlanta has won 10 of its last 13 as the regular season heads to a close. The Dream hosts the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night before facing the Indiana Fever on the road on Sunday.
