The Dream continue their Independence Day week home stand with their second matchup of the season against the Houston Comets.

Atlanta (0-16) is still searching for their first win in franchise history. The Dream are coming off a 97-79 loss to the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday, July 2. Phoenix, led by Diana Taurasi�s 28 points, used a 20-3 run in the second quarter to jump out to a 24 point halftime lead. Four player scored in double figures for the Dream, led by Betty Lennox with 18. Jennifer Lacy finished with 16 points (all in the second half), Tamera Young had 15, and Ivory Latta added 13 for Atlanta.

The Comets (7-9) were also in action on Tuesday, losing 78-68 in overtime to the Eastern Conference leaders, the Connecticut Sun. Houston was without star Tina Thompson for the third consecutive game (broken finger). Matee Ajavon led Houston with 14 points, followed by Hamchetou Maiga-Ba and Michelle Snow with 11 each.

This is the second time the Dream and Comets have faced off this season. Houston won the first matchup at home 88-79, led by Michelle Snow�s double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. Betty Lennox led the Dream with 29 points and 11 rebounds, and Ivory Latta recorded 21 points in that game.

The Dream close out their home stand against the Chicago Sky on Saturday, July 5. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm at Philips Arena.
