Atlanta (0-11) travels to Washington for their second game of the season against the Mystics (4-7). Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM EST at the Verizon Center. Dream fans can tune into 1230 / 1340 AM to catch all the action live.

The Mystics defeated the Dream 80-74 in the first matchup on May 27, 2008. In that game, Alana Beard scored 19 of her 25 points in the second half and Taj McWilliams-Franklin added 19 points and nine rebounds. The Dream were led by Betty Lennoxs 29 points and nearly rallied from a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

The Dream are coming off an 81-66 loss on Wednesday night to the San Antonio Silver Stars. Stacey Lovelace led Atlanta with 18 points while rookie Tamera Young neared a triple-double with 13 rebounds, nine points and seven assists. The Mystics were also in action on Wednesday night, rallying to defeat the Houston Comets 67-63 behind Alana Beards 23 points.

Tonights opponent is a familiar one for Dream head coach Marynell Meadors. Meadors spent the previous three seasons as an assistant coach for the Mystics (2005-2007). Dream center Stacey Lovelace also played for the Mystics last season before signing with Atlanta as a free agent.

The Dream are back in action Sunday afternoon (June 22) against the Detroit Shock in the second matchup between the two teams. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM at Philips Arena.
